Hiking Souvenir

Several years ago, on a hiking trip, I found a piece of turquoise that had once been used as jewelry before. Because of the location I found it in I’m certain that it is hundreds of years old. I’ve kept it ever since, waiting for an opportunity to use it.

This was my first mala ever made. I re-made the tassel using better yarn. (My first one was terrible)

Jasper, Crystal Quartz, and Turquoise.

She’s my favorite one.

Mom’s Birthday

Thomas asked that I create a special mala for his mom’s birthday this year.

Impression Jasper, Cape Amethyst, Blue Goldstone, Rose Quartz. Feather is Mother of Pearl, cross is from Thomas.

We haven’t been able to see her in a while and this was a good present. Made with Cape Amethyst, Rose Quartz, Blue Goldstone, Impression Japser, and Mother of Pearl.  A cross is attached but unfortunately the picture doesn’t show very well.

A fun and colorful mala.

Happy Birthday Mom!
